CSYFA
FLAG & TACKLE FOOTBALL LEAGUE
The Carol Stream Youth Football Association is a division of the Bill George Youth Foot League.
The CSYFA is voluneered run sports organization. The league ages are 5-14 years old (kindergarten - eighth grade). Flag football is for ages 5-8 years old (kindergarten - second grade). Tackle is for ages 8-14 years old. Players 7-8 years/second grade have the option to choose between flag and tackle depending on skill and weight.
The season starts end of July with a skill camp and practices begin late July/Early August. Practices are at Red Hawk Field in West Chicago and home games are at Glenbard North High School. Away games are local travel.
The first two weeks of practices are 3-5 days a week for 2 hours after that practices are 2-3 days a week depending on level and coach.
EQUIPMENT INFORMATION
TACKLE FOOTBALL: Helmet, shoulder pads, two game jerseys and a practice jersey are included in registration fees. The helmet and shoulder pads belong to CSYFA and are to be returned at the end of the season. Players who do not return shoulder pads or helmet will be charged.

ADDITIONAL GEAR TO PURCHASE: Padded football pants, socks, cleats, mouth guard, athletic cup supporter and water bottle. These items are not included and you will need to purchse for the season.
